Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Textrion, including the web dashboard, API, demos, and related features. By creating an account, calling the API, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Textrion.
If you use Textrion on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. Self-hosted or privately operated deployments may be subject to additional agreements with the operator of that instance.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal and document data and is incorporated by reference.
The service
Textrion provides automated document extraction and related tools, for example M-PESA and bank statement parsing, integrity checks, case/dossier workflows, exports, and optional add-ons such as personal analysis or credit review helpers.
Output is best-effort. Extraction results, grades, and analysis summaries can contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications. You must independently verify outputs before relying on them for accounting, lending, underwriting, compliance, or any other decision-making. Textrion does not issue credit bureau scores, approve loans, or make lending decisions for you.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as we improve the product. We aim to avoid breaking API clients without notice where practical, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Accounts & access
You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password, session, and any two-factor credentials. Activity under your account is your responsibility unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized access.
We may refuse, limit, or reclaim accounts used for abuse (including disposable-email signup abuse or repeated welcome-offer gaming). Corporate team members may be subject to their workspace owner’s policies.
Credits & billing
Extractions and certain features consume page credits (or other metered units) according to your plan and published pricing. When credits or plan capacity are exhausted, new billable work may be blocked until you top up, upgrade, or your allowance renews.
Payments may be processed by third-party providers (for example Paystack or M-PESA). Taxes, currency conversion, and provider fees may apply as shown at checkout. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable once credits or plan time have been delivered.
We may adjust pricing or plan limits with notice for renewals and new purchases. Existing prepaid credits remain available until consumed or as otherwise stated in your plan.
Your content
You retain ownership of documents and data you upload. You grant Textrion a limited license to host, process, display, and export that content solely to provide the service to you and your authorized team members.
You represent that you have the right to upload the documents you submit (including client statements processed for credit review) and that your use complies with applicable law and your own privacy obligations to those individuals.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or content you are not authorized to process.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, payment, authentication, or security controls.
- Probe, scrape, or overload the service in ways that harm availability for others.
- Resell access to Textrion, or share API keys, in violation of your plan or these Terms.
- Misrepresent extraction output as fully verified or as a regulated credit decision.
- Use the service to build a competing extractor by systematically copying our models, prompts, or proprietary bank-profile logic beyond ordinary interoperability.
Add-ons & analysis
Optional add-ons (such as personal analysis or credit-review tooling) are provided when enabled on your account. They summarize or organize extracted data for human review. They are not substitutes for professional judgment, licensed credit reporting, or your internal underwriting policy.
Team workspaces
Workspace owners control invitations, roles, and shared cases. Members must follow their organization’s instructions. Owners are responsible for removing access when someone leaves. Certain accounts (for example invited non-owner members) may be unable to self-delete while they remain on a corporate team; see Settings and the Privacy Policy for deletion rules.
API keys
API keys grant programmatic access equivalent to your account permissions. Treat them as secrets. Revoke compromised keys immediately from the dashboard. We may rate-limit or revoke keys that threaten service stability or violate these Terms.
No warranty
Textrion is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of extraction, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Textrion and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service or reliance on extracted or analyzed data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in that period, or (b) USD 100 (or local equivalent), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Suspension & termination
You may stop using Textrion at any time and, when eligible, delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or create risk to the platform or other users.
Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership of your content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and acceptable use) continue to apply.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated in-product or by email when practical. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Contact
Questions about these Terms: [email protected], or in-product support after you sign in. For privately operated deployments, contact that operator.
